I, as an Agriculturist and Industrialist urge to develop excellent educational facility in the region around Kalyan, by establishing group of quality institutions in this area. The general location and the ambience of the surrounding of the site are conducive of excellent academic pursuits. I recognize that education is an instrument to enhance the capabilities of human being to become knowledgeable, creative and good citizen. I have kept a very clean vision in developing institutions for promoting techno-economic and knowledge base society. To achieve this, I have appointed very experienced and dedicated faculty. I have provided an excellent infrastructural facilities, well equipped laboratories and very rich library. I want to create an academic environment in which students can learn and develop their knowledge based personalities. I am eager for collaboration of these institutions with other academic institutes of higher standards, with Foreign Universities and other R & D Organizations to achieve academic excellence. I recognize further that faculty and students are the backbone of the system and therefore, I have provided them state of art facilities to achieve world class education. I believe, creating academic culture, effective resource management and multi-institutional integration in research will principally accelerate standard of technical education. I have used this thought process in the overall development of institutions under my trust. "Quality" being a bigger challenge before technical education system, I consistently motivate and provide advance training programs to my faculty and students by adopting an excellent teaching learning process.

I take great privilege to welcome you in our Institute. Today, it gives me a deep sense of satisfaction and pride to say the glorious achievements of Vighnaharata Trust that in a very short span of time, Vighnaharata Trust got the permission for four colleges — Management, Engineering, Pharmacy and Polytechnic. Education in general and technical education in particular, must be relevant to rapidly changing needs of the industry and business houses. Technological advances, economy changes, changes in social attitude and likes & dislikes of consumers & buyers, has significant effect on educational system. The system must be dynamic and quickly adaptable, so that professionals must be capable of shouldering local and global responsibilities in industrial and social sectors. To my mind, greater challenge before Technical education is 'Quality'. Quality of teaching-learning in the class depends mostly on quality of teachers and students. We, therefore, focus on training and retraining of teachers and on personality development of students. Exchange of persons from industry to institute and institute to industry, definitely improve teaching-learning process. Infrastructure, well-developed laboratories & computer centre and other related equipments and machineries are of standard quality and reliability. I hope, it will fulfill the requirements of the students, so that, they can learn, practice and achieve various skills to become a perfect professional in their field to face the present problems and tasks in industries. Our institutes will help the students to develop soft skills, personality and interpersonal relationship. The Institute's endeavor will be to assist the students in realizing their dreams to be successful in their career and life. We believe in empowering our executives with managerial skills and with a sense of social responsibility. They must expose themselves to the real world of challenges. We are establishing and developing all our institutes in such a way that these will transform the students into an eminent professionals and corporate leaders. I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all of you to our institute, Shivajirao S. Jondhle Polytechnic (SSJP). located in Asangaon, Thane, a institute for imparting quality education to young minds. The Institute is established to create, nurture, and shape technical professionals and leaders to create a sustainable society. The institute has good infrastructural facilities. All laboratories are well equipped with modern equipment/machinery. To provide the students an industrial exposure, we have signed MOUs with various industries. Students are provided with opportunities for interaction with experts from the Industry through Guest Lectures, Industrial Visits, Vacation Training (internships), student chapters of various Professional bodies etc. To align with the curriculum, we have excellent faculty, infrastructure and laboratories. A spacious green campus, good library and peaceful atmosphere ensure that learning becomes a wonderful experience. The academic activities concentrate on helping the students to gain excellent theoretical and practical knowledge. We are constantly reviewing our set-up to update and improve to make sure that students will gain analytical, entrepreneurial, interpersonal and communication skills. Although academics is a part and parcel of the diploma degree, we organized cultural activities, sports competitions and technical fest (“WINGS” ) every year to bring about a fine balance between, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Parent-Teacher meetings are held to review the progress and to discuss the problems if any, faced by students. Students are encouraged to participate in various inter-collegiate competitions. At SSJP, we firmly believe that our campus creates an environment for future leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals who will positively contribute to society in today's ever-changing dynamic world. I am confident that with the support of the Management and cooperation of students, parents, alumni and our dedicated staff, the institute will grow in the coming years and we will be able to mould our students into responsible citizens of tomorrow.
